RIDGEWAY — The regular meeting of the Ridgeway council has been moved from Tuesday to Wednesday night a 7 p.m. in council chambers.

ADA — Third graders at Ada Elementary School learned all about “What bugs trees?” at the Arbor Day celebration on Friday. Mayor Dave Retterer reported on the celebration during his report to council at its regular meeting on Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 2 Hardin County Agricultural Society (fair board) – 7 p.m., fair office, fairgrounds

TUESDAY, MAY 1 Ada council – 6:30 p.m., council chambers

The Hardin County Board of Elections will hold its regular meeting at 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 8 (Election Day) in the board office at the courthouse. There will be no regular meeting on Thursday, May 10.

FOREST — The Jackson Township trustees will meet in a special session at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 19 at the township hall to award a bid for a 3,000-gallon tanker.

MONDAY, APRIL 30 Grove Cemetery Board – 5:30 p.m., conference room at cemetery office

Sherrill Titus will mark her 30th year with Quest Federal Credit Union, formerly Kenton Rockwell Standard Federal Credit Union, on May 4. At that time, her hire brought the staff to four employees. Sherrill was hired by Betty Collins as a part time teller (Friday’s only) while finishing her accounting degree.
