Pinks charged in assault of woman and her daughter

FINDLAY — An Arlington man who was captured in Hardin County is facing criminal charges in Hancock County after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend and her daughter with a hatchet at their home. According to the Findlay Courier, Brandon Pinks, 37, got into an argument with Breanna Lemos at their home at 219 W. Main Cross St., Arlington at about 8 a.m. on April 1.

Man sent to prison

A Kenton man was sent to prison for a year after he was found guilty of escape charges. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Jason Scott Hurley, last known address, 213 S. Market St., Kenton, was on post release control from an earlier case and failed to report on more than one occasion for meetings with his Adult Parole Authority officer.

Courts close

The Hardin County Juvenile Court will be closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, April 22 for staff training. The Hardin County Probate and Juvenile courts will be closed Wednesday, April 24 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. for Administrative Assistant Day.
