The Latter Rain Southern Gospel Quartet will be performing at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12 at Kenton Full Gospel Church, 129 N. Wayne St., Kenton.

Kenton Full Gospel Church is holding an auction and picnic open to the public at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at the Hardin County Fairgrounds shelterhouse. Choose from lots of household items, furniture, night stands, chairs, glassware, exercise equipment and more.

Gospel singing will be featured at Well of Grace Fellowship Church, 525 N. Ida St., Kenton at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11. Featured guest singer is Linda Lester from Martinsville, Ind. She has won multiple awards in gospel music over the last three decades as a songwriter and female vocalist.

ALGER — Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, located south of Alger, will have a Homecoming Service at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 29. The Anointed Hearts will be singing at the service, with Rev. Holly preaching.

Rev. Matthew A. Laferty will be speaking at the Hepburn United Methodist Church, 21463 CR 144, Kenton at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 22. He is the pastor of the English Speaking United Methodist Church of Vienna, where he has served since August of 2015.

ALGER — TLC Ministries will be hosting a “Community Eatin’ Meetin’ Gospel Singing Concert” on Saturday, July 21 at its location in Alger at 701 N. Main Street. The purpose is to draw the community together for fellowship, said Pastor Tony Crowe.

A revival is coming to Kenton Full Gospel Church beginning Thursday, July 26 through Sunday, July 29. Corey Carroll will lead the revival, which will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday.
