Hardin Memorial Hospital's Board of Trustees began their meeting by receiving a presentation from Michael Gier, an attorney form Bricker and Eckler. The presentation focused on economic issues within healthcare, the hospital's corporate structure as well as the role of the board's fiduciary duties.

The Ada Kiwanis Club met on Tuesday, March 24 at noon at the new Ada First United Methodist Church. President John Berg called the meeting to order.

The Hardin County Cottontails 4-H Club will have an informational meeting Sunday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at the Alger Social Center, 201 N. Main St., Alger.

LIMA — The Tri-Moraine Audubon Society will feature “West African Rodents, Shrews and Bats” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7 in the meeting room of OSU-Lima’s Visitor and Student Services Center, 3900 Campus Drive.

Lawrence Valley Grange met March 24 at the Homecoming Restaurant in Bellefontaine. Six members and two guests enjoyed lunch together.

The Memorial Park Bridge Club met on Wednesday, March 25 at the Pro Shop Annex.
