MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale Elementary has released its honor rolls for the second nine weeks of the 2014-2015 school year.

Ridgemont High School student Marcus Radcliffe has earned a $1,000 grant to establish his own business. The grant comes from CF Industries through a National FFA SAE grant.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ohio Hi-Point Career Center welcomed more than 50 school administrators on Wednesday evening during the district’s annual All-Boards Banquet. The event honored superintendents, treasurers, and board members of OHP’s 16 partner school districts and educational service centers.

A Kenton Rotary Club member will be traveling to India this month to immunize children against polio. Harry Hooyenga, the former owner of the Corintian Nursing Home in Kenton, will be part of a 15-member team from Ohio, Arizona and California which will depart for India on Feb. 16 and return Feb. 28.

Tom and Roberta Dennis of Kenton are celebrating their 50th anniversary. They were married on Feb. 14, 1965 at the First Reformed Church in Kenton by the Rev. Joel Krumlauf.

ATLANTA — Devin Dilley of Mount Blanchard earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Fall 2014 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.
