Keep Hardin Co. Beautiful hosts 25th Annual Banquet

Keep Hardin County Beautiful hosted its 25th Annual Banquet on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at the First United Methodist Church in Kenton. The theme was "Composting.” The tables were decorated with different colors of potted mums, stainless steel composting pails for the kitchen counter, and vintage canning jars with wildflower seed mix in them.

Veterans Day Assembly set Friday at Riverdale

MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Riverdale High School National Honor Society is inviting area veterans to attend its annual Veterans Day Assembly on Friday at 10:15 a.m. in the school gymnasium. After the assembly, veterans will be treated to lunch courtesy of the National Honor Society.

Euchre slated at HNCC

DUNKIRK — Euchre will be played weekly at the Hardin Northern Community Center starting Thursday, Nov. 10. Anyone interested in the card game is invited to the center to play from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

F-J Library closed Friday

FOREST — The Forest-Jackson Public Library will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day. The card catalog is available 24/7 at www.forestlibrary.org.
