TIFFIN — Jessica Hoehn of Forest and Caitlin Johnson of Kenton are among 308 first-year and transfer students enrolled at Heidelberg University for the 2015-16 academic year. This year's incoming class is among a group that arrived with the highest recorded average GPA and ACT cohort scores in Heidelberg's history, according to Doug Kellar, vice president for enrollment management.

Ohio’s Pawpaw

According to the Department of Natural Resources, the State of Ohio proclaimed the pawpaw as the state’s native fruit in 2009. Pawpaw is found throughout all of Ohio and most of the Eastern United States except for New England and much of Florida.

Medicaid help offered

DUNKIRK — A marketplace navigator will be at the Hardin Northern Public Library in Dunkirk from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21. She will help individuals determine their eligibility under the expanded medicaid program and assist with the application process.

Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center residents and staff enjoy a day at the Hardin County Fair. They facility made daily trips and all residents who wanted to attend got to go and enjoy a day.
