College coaches tell KHS students what attributes they look for in their recruits Kenton High School students were told that it takes much more than having outstanding athletic ability to get the chance to compete at the collegiate level. During the college coaches forum for KHS student athletes and parents on Wednesday night, the five coaches that participated all said that while they look at athletic talent, they also look at the individual. ONU lifts up memory of Dr. King with unveiling of statue on campus ADA — For decades, Ohio Northern University had acknowledged Dr. Martin Luther King’s 1968 visit to the campus with a plaque on a rock. “You had to go a little bit out of your way if you wanted to know the story of Dr. King’s visit. S.O.U.P. Kitchen receives UW grant S.O.U.P. (Some of Us People) Kitchen was awarded a $2,500 venture grant from the United Way of Hardin County’s Special Needs Fund on Monday. “The grant will enable us to continue operations, serving hot, healthy meals at no charge to any person living within the area, regardless of income,” S.O.U.P.
