Gibson to run track at Wilmington Miranda Gibson has been an integral part of the Kenton High School track and cross country teams the past four years, including being a member of the regional qualifying 4 by 100 meter relay teams the past two springs. Norris feels at home at library and in Kenton Sam Norris moved to Kenton from Marion in 2009, and for a time, he felt as though he was an outsider. The move came with the job of serving as director of the Mary Lou Johnson-Hardin County District Library. Just prior to moving, he had worked at the Marion Public Library where he was in charge of local history and genealogy, as well as working the reference desk. Read More

Holland takes top spot in 400 at district meet DEFIANCE — Kenton’s Hannah Holland took first place in the girls 400 meter dash on Friday night in Defiance, earning the Division II district championship and a spot in the regional meet next week in Piqua. Seeded in the top spot coming into Friday’s finals, Holland won the event in a time of 1:01.93, just beating out Kate Ellis of Toledo Central Catholic who finished at 1:02.30. Read More
