A Kenton man was sent to prison for 13 years and was designated a Tier II sexual offender in a case before the Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Richard Shannon Jenkins, 71, 15079 Ohio 309, Room 23, Kenton, pleaded guilty to two counts of illegal use of a minor in a nudity-oriented material or performance.

A Kenton man was sent to prison after pleading guilty to charges in the Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Daniel Ray Wright, 398 E. Forest Road, Apt. H 86, Kenton, was found guilty of one count of burglary.

Adam N. Dawson, Perrysburg – speeding 41 mph in a 25 mph zone, fined $25.

David P. Burns, Lakeside Marblehead – speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25.

UPPER SANDUSKY — A Forest man pleaded guilty Wednesday to attempted felonious assault in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court while admitting to getting into a bar fight in Kirby with his alleged victim.

A Kenton man received prison time earlier this week after pleading guilty to one count of abduction and one count of assault in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. Nichols J. Griffith was sentenced to 18 months in prison on the abduction charge and 180 days of local incarceration on the assault charge by Judge Scott N. Barrett.

Nathan P. Thomas, 323 Center St., Kenton – speeding 55 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25.

Fined $25 for speeding 67 mph in a 55 mph zone were: Stephen Lewis Shaffer, Lima; Thomas C. Johnson, 1768 Ohio 309, Alger and Kenneth H. Moore, 9430 CR 150, Kenton. Fined $25 for speeding 68 mph in a 55 mph zone were: Andrew J. Moreo, Dublin and Tylor R. Brown, Toledo.

The testimony of a 13-year-old and of the defendant’s son convinced a Hardin County Common Pleas Court jury to convict a Forest woman on 16 charges, including 11 counts of attempted aggravated arson, late Wednesday afternoon. The jury, made up of nine men and three women, took three hours to return the guilty verdicts against Kimberly Wise of Forest after a second day of testimony.

A Kenton woman was sent to prison for a total of 57 months on three felony counts in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.
