An Ada man was found guilty by a jury of drug charges and recently sentenced to a term in prison in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

Kathryn M. Watson, 402 W. College Ave. Unit 2972, Ada – speeding 47 mph in a 20 mph school zone, fined $250. Courtney Warren, Pandora – speeding 61 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $50.

A Kenton man was sent to prison for more than two years after being convicted of charges in the Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

A woman who was considered to be a major drug dealer in Hardin County is headed to prison for five years. A jury of four men and eight women found Jamie Lee Whittaker guilty of 17 counts of drug-related charges on Nov. 16. Monday afternoon, Judge Scott Barrett said he had the responsibility to protect the public from Whittaker and sent her to prison.

Two Kenton men were identified as sexual offenders in separate cases before the Hardin County Common Pleas Court recently.

Fined $25 for speeding 68 mph in a 55 mph zone were: Dianna L. Mitchell, Springfield and Christopher R. Hollon, 3931 CR 80, Alger.

Anthony S. Cornett, Sidney – speeding 51 mph in a 35 mph zone, one prior offense, fined $65. Fined $25 for speeding 53 mph in a 35 mph zone were: Sara Miranda, Bellefontaine and Jason Jerew, unknown address.
