ONU Symphony to present ‘Multiculturalism in New World’ concert

ADA – The Ohio Northern Symphony, under the direction of Travis Jürgens, will present a concert, “Multiculturalism in the New World,” at 7 p.m. on Feb. 24 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. The program will feature the ONU Gospel Ensemble under the direction of Adriane Thompson Bradshaw, vice president for student affairs, performing “Changed,” “Broken But I’m Healed” and “Anthem of Praise.”

Lima Symphony to present ‘Star Wars’ music

LIMA — The Lima Symphony Orchestra will journey back in time to a galaxy far, far away as they present its annual Family Concert “Star Wars” on Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center. Whether you’re a fan of the dreaded Empire or the Rebel Alliance, the vengeful Sith or the valiant Jedi, people of all ages will enjoy reliving exciting moments from the storied franchise with featured music from films both classic and new.

ONU Wind Orchestra to perform

ADA – The Ohio Northern University Wind Orchestra will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 28 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. Music Director Antoine T. UF to stage ‘Disney’s Newsies’

FINDLAY — The University of Findlay Theatre Program will present its production of “Disney’s Newsies.” Show times at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts will be on Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $12 at the center’s box office at 200 W. Main Cross St.

Human trafficking drama set at BC

BLUFFTON — The Bowling Green High School Drama Club will perform “Lily’s Wings” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12 in Bluffton University’s Yoder Recital Hall. The award-winning drama troupe’s original play explores the manipulative world of human trafficking from the perspective of a young girl.

America to perform classic rock concert at Marion Palace Theatre

MARION — The band America, rock music’s top hit-maker of 1970s, is set to perform a live concert at the Marion Palace Theatre on Friday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. America’s founding members and long-time friends, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell, are entering their 49th year of making music together, touring the world, and thrilling audiences with their timeless sound.
