FINDLAY — Jay Owenhouse, a legendary escape artist and one of the most awarded illusionists in history, returns to Findlay for one night only in “Dare to Believe!”, an illusion spectacular. The performance will be on Friday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marathon Center.

FINDLAY – The Marathon Center for the Performing Arts is now accepting audition registrations for the 2018-2019 Spring Semester of the Hancock County Children’s Choir. It is a community-based treble voice children’s chorus open to all 2-5 grade children in the greater Hancock County area.

MARION — PBS sensation and classical-crossover artist, Annie Moses Band, known for their fiery string playing and soulful renditions of beloved American songs, are bringing their show to the Marion Palace Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m.

LIMA — The Lima Symphony Orchestra will present its New Year’s Eve concert, Dancing Queen: The Music of ABBA performed by Jean’s N Classics, on Monday, Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center.

FINDLAY — Judy McLane, an award-winning acting and vocal virtuoso whose star turn in Broadway’s “Mamma Mia” captivated audiences, will be the University of Findlay Donnell Broadway Concert Series guest artist in January 2019.

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Symphony and Wind Orchestra will present a concert at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. The program begins as the ONU Wind Orchestra, conducted by Antoine Clark, pays homage to the ceremonial kindling of light during the holidays and the winter solstice through a beautiful and musically illuminating program titled “Season of Light.”

BLUFFTON —The Bluffton University music department will present “Christmas Festival” during Forum at 11 a.m. on Dec. 4, in Yoder Recital Hall. Students will perform compositions that prepare hearts and minds for the Christmas season.

MARION — Kicking off the holiday season at the historic Marion Palace Theatre is the annual community production of “Christmas at the Palace” on Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and Dec. 2. Written and directed by Clare Cooke, “Christmas at the Palace 2018: The Gift of Family” features the talent of hundreds of Marion-made individuals who share the warmth and wonder of the holidays in song and dance, instrumental solos and group numbers, heart-felt vignettes, silly sketches, and more.

LIMA — The Lima Symphony Orchestra will present its annual holiday pops concert, “Bells, Brass & Bows,” on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in Lima. This festive celebration of song will feature the voices of the Lima Symphony Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Mark Suderman.

BLUFFTON —Bluffton University will present its 123rd performance of Handel’s “Messiah” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, in Yoder Recital Hall. While tickets are free, they must be reserved at http://tickets.bluffton.edu or at Marbeck Center.
