Tritt tickets selling fast

MARION — Tickets are selling quickly for Travis Tritt in concert at the historic Marion Palace Theatre on Friday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. At press time, approximately 250 of the 1,445 seats remain available for purchase.

ONU to present guest violinist

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music will present guest violinist Annette-Barbara Vogel and her accompanist Durval Cesetti in at the Snyder Recital Hall in the Presser Building on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Dancing duo to return to Marion

MARION — Making their return to the Marion Palace Theatre stage on Sunday, October 4 at 3 p.m. is the all-singing, all-dancing duo, “Two On Tap,” starring Broadway veterans, Melissa Giattino and Ron DeStefano. The pair first appeared at the Palace in 2013.

Country legend Travis Tritt to perform at Marion Palace

MARION — Travis Tritt will take the Marion Palace Theatre stage on Friday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. to share his songs and stories with country music fans. A member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1992, Tritt has 7 Certified Platinum Albums and has won 2 Grammy Awards for his collaboration work with other country artists.

‘Messiah’ rehearsals in Bluffton

BLUFFTON — Rehearsals for Bluffton University’s 120th performance of Handel’s “Messiah” will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Oct. 6, in the Gilliom Room of Mosiman Hall on campus. Anyone interested in singing, from high school students to adults, is invited to join the chorus, which typically ranges from 70-90 members, including Bluffton students, faculty, staff and community members.

‘Aladdin, Jr.’ set in Marion

MARION – Audience members will experience a show filled with magic, mayhem and flying carpet rides when the Palace Cultural Arts Association presents the junior production of Disney’s “Aladdin, Jr.” The three performances on the Palace Theatre main stage are Friday, Oct. 9 and Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m.
