PERI Chapter 34 Hardin County met Friday, Oct. 4 at the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office meeting room in Kenton. There were 23 people in attendance. DUNKIRK — The sixth annual Dunkirk and Community Halloween Parade, hosted by the Northern Hardin County Fire District, is planned for Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Trustees of the Kenton City Schools Excellence for Education Foundation met at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at the Oaklief administrative building.

ALGER — The Alger council heard a report Monday on a program which would identify and record the hydrants, valves, buildings, water pits and other objects within the village and make the information available in hand as needed.
