Mount Victory man sent to prison for another two years A Mount Victory man was sent to prison for a mandatory two year sentence on drug charges in the Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Daemon Araya Stewart, 20790 Co. Rd. 199, Mount Victory, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of heroin. Judge Scott Barrett sentenced Stewart to prison for two years and ordered him to pay a mandatory fine of $7,500. Read More

Documentary debuts to large crowd in armory Their story was one that took nearly 75 years to be told in detail. And now that story is available for the entire world to see. On Tuesday night at the Kenton Armory, WGTE-TV out of Toledo, presented the first screening of “’A Soldier’s Story: Never Forgotten” a documentary detailing the account of nine Hardin County soldiers that lost their lives during the Battle of Munda in World War II and the effects in had on the community.
