National recognition sought for deputy killed in 1899 Hardin County law enforcement officials are leading an effort to honor a deputy sheriff killed in the line of duty 119 years ago. State OK’s Hardin Solar Center project One of the largest solar arrays in Ohio, the Hardin Solar Center planned in western Hardin County, was approved by the Ohio Power Siting Board on Thursday.
