Police reports: February 14, 2018 A call was received from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office with information about a stolen vehicle with Texas license plates, operated by a man named Nathan Dale Stakey of Galion, and sitting in the Village Pantry parking lot. Officers located the Ford pickup truck in the parking lot, and Stakey was found inside the vehicle and taken into custody. Read More

Body of Alger area man found in home destroyed by fire ALGER — The body of a man believed to have been entrapped in his burning home west of Alger has been found. Kenton council OKs funds to stock ambulance for KFD Kenton City Council moved forward with providing funds for equipment and supplies for the ambulance acquired last month by the Kenton Fire Department during its meeting Monday night.
