Ada Schools invited to join work force training program ADA — The Ada School District has been invited to join other area schools in the expansion of the Straight A Grant. Upper Scioto Valley, along with Indian Lake and Fairlawn school districts, were the participants in the pilot program which connects the schools with businesses and higher education to train students for the work force. Ada’s CIC will not serve as ESID for town’s PACE plans ADA — Contrary to initial plans, the Community Improvement Corporation of Ada will not serve as the village’s energy special improvement district for the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program. PACE is a financing economic and development tool available to the village through the Toledo Lucas County Port Authority which allows for the village and commercial property owners to make energy efficiency and alternative energy improvements and pay for them through a special assessment.
