Two area residents were arrested on felony drug charges related to alleged prescription pill trafficking after a pair of search warrants were served at residences in rural Upper Sandusky and the city of Kenton this week.

Two Kenton women are in the Multi-County Jail in Marion after being arrested on drug charges during raids Thursday and Friday, according to a release from Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart’s office.

Fined $25 for speeding 68 mph in a 55 mph zone were: Eugene M. Engle, Mooresville, N.C.; Richard E. Persinger II, Green Camp; Amy L. Spradlin, 909 N. McConnell St., Alger; David C. Crago, Marysville and Gregory S. Rosso, Dublin.

Rising young country music singer Chase Bryant will be the Saturday night grandstand entertainment at this year’s Hardin County Fair. Bryant, 23, from Orange Grove, Texas, has had two top 10 singles. BELLEFONTAINE — A 30-year-old Bellefontaine man has been charged with inducing panic in connection with Wednesday’s evacuation of the Honda Marysville Plant. Jeffery H.
