Shed lost in fire

A detached shed at a Kenton residence was a total loss following a fire this morning. Kenton Fire Department firefighters were dispatched at 4:36 a.m. to the residence of Shirley Cole at 729 S. Wayne St.

Lawmaker hears local concerns from officials

USV board sets special session

McGUFFEY —The Upper Scioto Valley Board of Education will meet in special session at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the superintendent’s office. The board will go into closed session to interview candidates for the associate/superintendent position.
