We wish to thank the church choirs, pastors, director Judge Scott Barrett, and all who made possible the wonderful Community Carol Sing held Sunday evening, Dec. 6 at Kenton First United Methodist Church. The church was beautifully decorated for the inspiring choral anthems and bell ringing, along with the enjoyable congregational carol singing.

FOREST — “One Voice,” a Gospel country group, will be singing at the Forest United Methodist Church at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 13. The church is located at 111 E. Dixon St., Forest. The members of “One Voice” all feel the calling of God to minister in music, to encourage, uplift, and share the blessed news of a loving Savior with the lost; plus our brothers and sisters in Christ, no matter what their situation.

The Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District held its annual conservation tour on Dec. 2. It highlighted a few of the conservation practices that have been installed by landowners in the county.
