Area agencies to present ag field day in county

The Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), The Nature Conservancy (TNC), John Deere and OSU Extension have teamed to plan an Agriculture Conservation, Protecting Water: Keeping Soil and Nutrients in the Field event on Friday, Sept. 18.

‘Hello Dolly’ set at as summer musical at Star Theatre

UPPER SANDUSKY — The Star Theatre in Upper Sandusky has named the cast of its 2015 summer musical production, “Hello Dolly.” It includes Julie McGinnis as Dolly Gallagher Levi, Christopher Thacker as Horace Vandergelder, Ben Book as Cornelius Hackl, Hailie Crowder as Irene Molloy, Levi Hill as Barnaby Tucker, Mallory Gleespen as Minnie Fay, Donovan Callahan as Abrose Kemper, Elissa Crowder as Ermengarde and Martin Brenneman as Rudolph (head waiter).

ONU accepting service requests for ACE Day

ADA — Ohio Northern University is currently registering organizations, businesses and residents for its third annual Ada Civic Engagement (ACE) Day to be held on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 10 a.m. to noon. A partnership with the village of Ada, the ACE Day program provides opportunities for ONU’s first-year students to not only engage with the community but also contribute to the village’s beautification.
