DOLA — Until this year, Dola has never been considered a destination for families to view Christmas lighting decorations. But the unique display of animated designs and patterns flashing and rolling on the yard of Kevin and Kelly Eikenbary on Ohio 81 in the village is quickly changing that.

County music singer Chase Bryant will be the grandstand entertainment on Saturday night of the 2016 Hardin County Fair. The Hardin County Agricultural Society, at its Dec. 5 meeting, approved the selection of Bryant as recommended by the entertainment committee.

An McGuffey man was declared to be an arson offender and was placed on community control in a recent case in the Hardin County Common Pleas Court.
