ADA — The 38th annual Ada Music Feast Show Choir Invitational Competition will be Saturday, Nov. 7 at Ada High School. This year's program will feature talented young men and women from 14 visiting show choirs from Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana.

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music presents an instrumental ensembles concert in the Snyder Recital Hall in the Presser Building on Monday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Tracy Wilson, 809 King St., reported that two nights ago, her daughter’s vehicle was parked in front of the house on King Street unlocked when an unknown person or persons entered the vehicle and stole some loose change and a necklace.

The three contested mayors’ races in Hardin County were not even close. Kenton Mayor Randy Manns had little opposition at the polls Tuesday. Manns was the only candidate to have his name appear on the ballot, but he was challenged by write-in candidates Joe Hord and John Alexander.

DOLA — The student body of Hardin Northern was rocking and rolling as they learned what it takes to become a successful author. Sigmund Brouwer has sold more than three million copies of his books. The titles include “Devil’s Pass” and “Justine McKeen and the Bird Nerd.”
