Police reports: July 9, 2019 Officers were dispatched to 707 Robinson Ave. for an unwanted guest with a possible warrant. An individual reported that after leaving two loads of laundry in the dryers at Crazy Bubbles laundry, 220 S. Main St., upon returning a short time later, the laundry was gone. Read More
Police reports: July 8, 2019 Nikia Tyrone Baker, Sidney, was arrested on a warrant through the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office. Lester Blake Cornish, 49 Grape St., was arrested on an active warrant through the Hardin County Municipal Court. He also had active warrants through the Hardin and Huron county sheriff’s offices. Police reports: June 28, 2019 A vehicle in the 300 block of Summit Street was towed away by Lowery’s Towing due to it not being moved for the street resurfacing project. A vehicle in the 10 block of Grape Street was towed away by Route 31 towing service due to its blocking street workers in the area. Read More
Police reports: June 27, 2019 Officers were dispatched to 645 N. Wayne St. for a report of a theft of a $5 bill and around $15 in change from a motor vehicle. An officer observed a vehicle parked on N. Leighton Street near North Street that had not been moved for an extended period of time, well over 48 hours. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Lowery’s Towing. Prior to the vehicle being towed, the officer attempted to contact the owner at their residence but was unable to get a response. Read More
