Police reports: June 25, 2019 A resident reported telecommunications harassment. A vehicle was observed parked in the 300 block of N. Leighton Street that did not have a license plate attached and also did not have any plates inside of it. The vehicle was impounded and towed to the City of Kenton impound lot. Read More

Police reports: June 19, 2019 A domestic disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Decatur Street. A group of four individuals were observed walking in the parking lot of Village Pantry just before 3:30 a.m. Two of the individuals were under the age of 18 and out past curfew. Police reports; June 18 Kenton police An abandoned vehicle was impounded at Hardin Crest Apartments. Officers took an on-station report in reference to the theft of a BiPap machine. A Job and Family Services caseworker stated that a child’s BiPap machine was not returned when she was returned to JFS. The incident is under investigation. Read More
Police reports: June 17, 2019 Saturday Officers responded to 64 Grape St. for a report of a burglary in progress. A loose horse was reported in the 700 block of N. Ida Street. Read More
Police reports: June 14, 2019 Payn Dylan Eric Young was visiting Seth David Rigdon at his house at 49 1/2 Grape Street when a man reportedly walked in the door holding a gun and wearing a ski mask. He demanded both men to turn over their money, wallets and cell phones to him and after receiving the items, left the home. Read More
Police reports: June 13, 2019 An officer responded to a report of a male running on Resch Street and shouting about a fire. The officer determined the man was Joshua P. Meekins, address unknown. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Meekins had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from the Adult Parole Authority. Once Meekins was taken into custody, the officer discovered the suspect had a "badly infected” surgery incision on his right leg. The prisoner was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital and then was transferred to Marion General. Read More
