Police reports: June 7, 2019 Officers assisted a naked female out of the Scioto River near Main Street on Thursday at 6:49 a.m. According to the report, Brandy Fay, 655 East St., Apt. 7, was going in and out of the river. The officer responding gave Fay a jump suit and blanket at the scene. She was transported by Kenton Fire Department ambulance to Hardin Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Read More

Police reports: June 5, 2019 James Paul Holland, 416 E. Franklin St., reported an unknown person kicked in the rear door while he was sleeping inside. While mowing grass for the City of Kenton beside the river near Wharton Park, Tevin Allen Joseph Klausing found a gun. The KPD identified the stolen weapon and returned it to its owner. The gun appeared to have been in the weather for a long period of time, according to the report. Read More

Police reports: May 30, 2019 Officers responded to the 600 block of Robinson Avenue for a report of a neighbor dispute. During a call for a noise complaint in the 500 block of W. North Street, one person observed was Cassandra Joan McDowell, 322 W. Railroad St. Her information was run through dispatch and a warrant was confirmed out of the KPD.
