An officer was dispatched to 304 Park Ave. for a reported theft. A female came to the department to report that her son was missing and did not show up at school. A call was received of a possible violation of a protection order.

An officer was dispatched to 818 W. North St. for a report of a burglary by a named suspect. Officers were sent to N. Ida Street in front of Simon Kenton School in reference to a man lying in the street. Upon arrival, the officers found the man on his feet and identified him as Bryan Eugene Hipsher, unknown Kenton address.

Officers were called to Walmart for the report of a theft in progress. Before officers arrived, the suspect entered a parked vehicle in the parking lot. The suspect, Amanda Marie Fraley, 4732 CR 195, Forest, was issued a summons for theft.

A curfew violation was reported in the 500 block of Decatur Street. Vandalism was reported at 398 E. Forest Road Apt. 10-A.

Friday Sarah Stidham, 222 W. Railroad St., reported items removed from her porch. Rebekah Risner, 59 Grape St. reported domestic violence. Gregory Risner, same address, was arrested and charged with domestic violence, menacing and unlawful retraint.

An individual reported that a known suspect used her credit card information without her authorization and made several purchases. Stolen checks were reported from 1004 S. Main St.

An on-station report was taken of ongoing harassment and trespassing. Matthew Alan Kennedy, 12580 CR 175, was arrested on a warrant out of Union County.

Officers were called to Kenton Community Health Center in reference to a domestic situation. A customer at Walmart observed a man and woman quickly pushing a shopping cart full of merchandise out of the store. The couple took the cart to the back of a gold Dodge Caliber and hurriedly tossed the merchandise into the vehicle before quickly driving out of the lot.

Flora Louise Humphreys, 142 Brumm St., was arrested on a warrant through the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office. A resident of 631 S. Main St. reported that two benches, a barn sided planter and one black milk can were stolen off of the front porch. Officers responded to the 200 block of S. Leighton Street in reference to a man who was getting into a car that did not belong to him.

Officers were dispatched to 232 1/2 N. High St. in reference to a possible intoxicated male on a resident's porch. An on-station report was received of a vehicle being keyed at 414 N. Cherry St. Vandalism to a vehicle was reported at 116 Broadway St.
