Jeffery Alan England, Lima, was observed walking through a parking lot in the 200 block of E. Carrol Street. An officer confirmed that there was a warrant for his arrest out of the Allen County Municipal Court. He was arrested and taken to the county line where he was turned over to a deputy of the Allen County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers assisted a probation officer in a house check on Rachael and Aaron McGrath. A warrant was confirmed for Rachael. Aaron was located in his bedroom and was detained for a drug screen and admitted to having “rigs.” An officer transported Rachael to the department where she was booked and placed in a holding cell.

A two-vehicle accident was reported on Decatur Street at S. Main Street. Shelby Dague, 316 S. Wayne St., was cited for a backing violation.

A theft was reported from 324 S. High St. Derrick Ray Houtz, 509 N. Oak St., was arrested on a pick-up order through the Adult Parole Authority.

Friday A resident reported that an unknown person opened an AEP account in her name and accrued charges. Officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of W. Railroad Street in reference to a possible burglary in progress. Upon investigation, officers found that a burglary had not occurred.

Kenton police An individual reported learning someone had recently used her son’s social security number in a fraudulent manner. The information came up on a credit report when applying for residency in a local apartment complex.

An officer was dispatched to Hope Recovery Center for an unruly juvenile. An anonymous caller reported that she had seen two boys of approximately 6 years old breaking out a window at a vacant residence at 527 W. North St.

The theft of prescription medication was reported from 127 E. Lynn St. Demarje Linette McCalebb, Toledo, was cited for license forfeiture suspension and possession of drugs.

Kenton police Officers were requested at Showplace for a report of a stolen 49-inch 4k smart TV. The owner of the car wash at 999 E. Columbus St. reported that a vehicle pulled into the wash bay, but because the vehicle was too large, it caused damage to the equipment.

Friday A vehicle was left abandoned on city property at Wharton Park. On March 11, the tires were chalked. On March 15, the vehicle had not been moved, therefore it was impounded as abandoned. A report was received of an assault at Kenton High School.
