An employee of Kroger reported that an unknown man came into the store and placed a large amount of meat items into a shopping cart. The man then attempted to push the cart out of the store without paying for the items. A Marion County resident reported her truck was stolen from the 500 block of S. Leighton Street.

David J. Clark, 340 Hayes Ave., was arrested for a probation violation order of pick-up and brought to the municipal court. He was turned over to his probation officer.

Officers took an on-station report of the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle by a juvenile. A hit-skip crash was reported at McDonald’s.

A report was received of a theft from a motor vehicle at 131 S. Cherry St. Officers responded to the Mary Lou Johnson-Hardin County District Library in reference to an intoxicated male who was causing a problem inside.

An officer reported a high school student as truant. A 20-inch Mongoose bicycle was reported found at Helping Hands in the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue.

Friday Kendra Rae Dysert, 6 Furney St., was cited for a red light violation. An unruly juvenile was reported at 1106 Cooper St. An injury accident was reported at the corner of Carrol and Glendale streets.

A report was taken of an unknown person damaging a vehicle at 440 Center St. overnight. The suspect spray painted vulgar words on the passenger side of the vehicle and also broke out the front window.

The mother of a 16-year-old female reported inappropriate photos were sent to her daughter by a known suspect. A report was received of an individual receiving numerous phone calls of a harassing nature from a named suspect.

FOREST — Forest Chief of Police Donald Southward issued the following report for activities in the department for the month of January.

Officers were called to 621 Robinson Ave. in reference to an unwanted person. A theft from a vehicle was reported at 235 E. Eliza St. Kevin D. Kidd, 416 1/2 W. Franklin St., was arrested on an active warrant through the department.
