Amanda M. Chelette, 608 E. Columbus St., stopped improperly for a traffic signal at the corner of Franklin and Wayne streets. Her Jeep was beyond the stop bar on Franklin Street and was struck by a northbound vehicle operated by Ernest L. Scott, 214 Robinson Ave. Chelette was charged with failure to obey a traffic signal.

Friday Vicky L. Fink, 219 S. Wayne St., reported a vehicle stolen.

Kenton Police Patricia Bailey, Huntsville, was stopped after she allegedly failed to use a turn signal.

A report was received of a curfew violation in the 200 block of E. Columbus Street. A theft was reported at Family Dollar. According to the report, an employee of Family Dollar was told by a customer inside the store that another customer was concealing merchandise inside her purse.

Richard A. Kougher, 333 Kuert Ave., reported that he heard a noise outside and a neighbor advised him they observed a male subject inside his minivan. Missing from the van was approximately $5 in change and two pairs of sunglasses.

A report was received of a male juvenile in the area of Fontaine and Railroad streets attempting to get a ride to Forest. Jarod A. Hewett Jr., 665 N. Detroit St., reported a theft from his motor vehicle.

Thursday A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Willeke Avenue, Ada.

An officer was dispatched to Forest Court Apt. 83-H for a report of a missing juvenile, Trevor M. Lease, 16, who left home sometime after 10 p.m. on May 23. According to the report, he was possibly riding a silver bike with red wheels.

A burglary was reported at 724 Park Ave. A report was received of a vehicle with expired tags left in front of a property in the 100 block of Brumm Street.

Julie Preston, 315 N. Wayne St., reported a theft of a Garman GPS unit from her vehicle at her home.
