Blue Star Mothers support ‘Save the 22’ Each day, there are about 20 veterans who commit suicide. Thanks to a craft and vendor fair on June 23, the Hardin County Blue Star Mothers raised $675 to go toward veteran suicide prevention. Kathy Tracy, president of the Blue Star Mothers, said each year she has a “president’s project,” picking out a 501(c)(3) they would like to contribute to or do something for. Read More

Club aims to raise funds to help with projects at HN Community Center DUNKIRK — With upgrades made to the roof and kitchen floor at Dunkirk’s Hardin Northern Community Center (HNCC), the Quilt Squares, a local quilting club, is aiming to raise funds for the projects.
