1987 WBL champs recognized The 30th anniversary of Kenton High School’s 1987 football team that won the Western Buckeye League football championship was celebrated during the current Wildcats 27-7 home victory over Defiance on Friday. Attendance up for Friday’s county fair There were 9,548 guests who attended the Hardin Count Fair on Friday according to estimates from the fair office. Wildcats’ defense finishes the job against Defiance Kenton used a fast start to gain the upper hand and then used an opportunistic defense to finish off Defiance in a 27-7 Western Buckeye League football victory at Robinson Field on Friday.
