On Sept. 25, 2000, Kevin Hines believed it was time for him to die. Despite having a caring, loving home, the voices in Hines’ head had convinced him it was time for him to end his life, but as he let go of the rail on the Golden Gate Bridge, he realized the voices were wrong.
