Activity staff and residents of Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center kicked off Christmas spirit week with Christmas head gear day. Many themed activities are planned this week.

COLUMBUS – Because being able to get around in the community is critical for older Ohioans to remain independent and healthy, the Ohio Department of Aging and the Ohio Department of Transportation are partnering to increase awareness of available resources for older drivers during Older Driver Safety Awareness Week, Dec. 3-7.

The Hardin County Council on Aging led a group of area residents on a recent trip to Ireland, Dingle Peninsula, Woollen Mills, Blarney Castle, Book of Kells and many more interesting sites.

Joe Dulin, a veteran from Hardin Hills Health and Rehab, receives a handmade lap quilt from the Joy Quilters. All veterans at the facility received one and a certificate of thanks from the staff of Hardin Hills.
