ADA — Sophomore Christiaan Williams ran for a school record 407 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Ohio Northern football team to a 51-21 victory over Capital on a rainy, windy Saturday night at Dial-Roberson Stadium. The Polar Bears improve to 3-2 overall and are 2-2 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Crusaders fall to 1-4, 1-3.

ADA — Logan Williams had three goals and an assist as Ada defeated Paulding 6-0 in a Northwest Conference boys soccer matchup on Saturday afternoon.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Reygan Frey had three second half goals as the Riverdale girls soccer team rallied for a 3-2 win over Sylvania Southview on Saturday night.

BELLEFONTAINE — Jazmine Mendez scored the only goal of the game late in the first half as the Kenton girls soccer team defeated Bellefontaine 1-0 in a non-league contest on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats improve to 6-5-3. Kenton travels to Bath on Tuesday for its final Western Buckeye League contest of the season.

ANNA — The Ben Logan girls cross country team was 21st of 25 teams with 520 points at the Anna Invitational on Saturday. Leading the Raiders was Erica Warnes, who covered the 3.1-mile course in 24:39 to place 96th in the field of 214 runners.

TECUMSEH — The Ben Logan Middle School seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams completed their seasons with second place finishes in the Central Buckeye Conference tournament.

Kenton and Shawnee made a lot of big plays during Friday night Western Buckeye League contest. The host Wildcats made one more play when they needed to, however, as time ran out on a late fourth quarter drive that could have given the Indians the lead and Kenton held on for a 43-37 homecoming win at Robinson Field.

BELLEFONTAINE — While Benjamin Logan’s Grant Ward had a pair of receiving touchdowns and racked up 85 yards on nine catches in Friday’s game against Tecumseh, it was a touchdown he scored on the other side of the ball that sealed the win for the Raiders.

MT. BLANCHARD — The McComb Panthers dominated the second quarter en route to a 42-19 win over the Riverdale Falcons Friday night. McComb (6-1, 5-0 BVC) scored the only points of the first quarter when Clay Santos ran through the middle of the Falcon defense for a 41-yard touchdown with 6:02 left in the opening period.

LIMA — Ridgemont was handed its seventh loss of the season Friday night, falling to Perry 56-6 in a Northwest Central Conference contest. The loss drops the Gophers to 0-7 overall, 0-4 in the NWCC.
