Wildcats hold off Titan rally 35-30

With the game on the line after Ottawa-Glandorf cut a 25-point lead to just five points, Kenton’s offense came up with the big play when it needed to on Friday night. Clinging to the slim lead and facing a third-and-goal at the 12, Kenton quarterback Jaron Sharp lobbed a pass over the middle to Landon Rush, who was all alone in the end zone, for what would prove to be the game-winning touchdown as the Wildcats held on for a 35-30 win over the visiting Titans.

Quick start propels Raiders past Graham

ST. PARIS — After jumping out to a 24-6 first-quarter lead over Graham, Benjamin Logan was able to cruise to a 46-26 Central Buckeye Conference football victory on Friday night. The win improves the Raiders’ record to 5-3 overall, 2-0 in the Mad River side of the CBC. Graham drops to 1-7, 0-3.

Polar Bear spikers win outright NWCC crown

LARUE — Hardin Northern’s volleyball team clinched the outright Northwest Central Conference championship on Thursday, sweeping Elgin in three games 25-19, 25-22, 25-19. Senior Shelby Alloway led the way for the Polar Bears, recording team-highs of 12 kills on the attack and 8 digs defensively.
