Lady Raiders fall to Tecumseh in 5 games

TECUMSEH —Tecumseh defeated Ben Logan in five sets 25-19, 23-25, 25-22, 16-25, 15-12 in a Central Buckeye Conference volleyball match on Thursday night. The Raiders, champions of the CBC’s Mad River Division, complete their regular season at 17-5 overall and 10-3 in league play.

Falcons boys shut out Cory-Rawson 3-0

RAWSON — Coby Miller had a goal and an assist and Matthew Mason and Taylor Bacon added goals as Riverdale defeated Cory-Rawson 3-0 in North Central Ohio Soccer Association play on Thursday. Riverdale improves to 5-9-1 on the season and 3-1-1 in NCOSA play.

KHS’s Schriber ousted in district tourney

PERRYSBURG — Kenton’s Mykaela’s Schriber won the first game of her Division II district tennis match against Napoleon’s Aliza Lankenau on Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately that was the highlight of the match for Schriber as Lankenau took the next 12 games to defeat the Wildcat sophomore 6-1, 6-0 in play at the Perrysburg Tennis Center.

Kenton, O-G looking for three in a row

Three weeks ago at the midpoint of the football season, the Kenton and Ottawa-Glandorf football teams were both sitting at 1-4. After two straight wins for both teams, the Wildcats and Titans square off at Robinson Field on Friday night with hopes of getting back to .500 on the season and giving themselves a shot to remain in the postseason playoff race in the final two weeks. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
