MILLER CITY — Reygan Frey had four goals and an assist and Gabi Rodriguez added two goals and five assists as Riverdale blasted Miller City 9-0 in a non-conference girls soccer game on Wednesday. Haley Beltz, Katie Benitez and Kelsey Corbin added goals for the Falcons, who improve to 9-1-2 on the season.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan Middle School volleyball teams defeated Graham on Wednesday night. The seventh grade Raiders won 25-12, 25-3 behind 11 aces and two kills by Brielle Moorhouse and 25 straight serving points and 7 aces by Lily Blackburn.

NORTH LEWISBURG — The Benjamin Logan girls cross country team competed in the Triad Invitational on Tuesday, taking fourth place with a score of 122. Tecumseh won the match with a 40 mark. Leading the Lady Raiders was Erica Warne who ran the 3.1-mile course in 25:10, placing 19th of 67 runners.

The Kenton soccer team held a one-goal lead over Shawnee twice on Tuesday night. Both times the Indians had a response as the teams played to 2-2 tie in Western Buckeye League action.

Kenton rallied to win the last two games after being down two sets to one against Ridgemont for a 25-14, 17-25, 20-25, 25-15, 15-12 victory in a non-league volleyball match on Tuesday. The Wildcats improve to 6-8 on the season, while Ridgemont is now 3-9.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — It took all five sets and a rally from being down 2-1, but in the end, the Upper Scioto Valley volleyball team came away with the non-conference win over Riverdale, 25-22, 13-25, 18-25, 25-16, 15-11 on Tuesday night.

The members of the Kenton boys soccer team will get a once in a lifetime experience ... or what coach Jamie Bartlett hopes is becoming a once every four seasons experience – when the Wildcats travel to Columbus on Thursday to take on Graham at 7 p.m. at Crew Stadium.

SPRINGFIELD — The Ben Logan boys golf team finished its season with a seventh place finish in Division II sectional play at Reid Park on Tuesday. The Raiders, led by district qualifier Ethan Rickets 87, shot a team score of 377.

CONVOY — Ada defeated Crestview in five sets 22-25, 27-25, 25-16, 22-25, 15-6 to on Tuesday remain unbeaten in Northwest Conference volleyball action. Melina Woods recorded 48 kills in the match to shatter the Ada school record of 35 kills that she had set previously. The 48 kills also ties her for second place in the Ohio High School record book for most kill in a match all-time.

SPRINGFIELD — Kenton Ridge defeated Ben Logan in straight sets 26-24, 25-14, 25-16 in a Central Buckeye Conference matchup on Tuesday night. Sarah VanDyke recorded 10 kills and 2 blocks and Stanleigh Archer and Molly Vance added 6 kills each to lead the Raiders.
