ONU women’s tennis advances ADA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team advanced in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament for the 16th consecutive season by posting a 5-0 victory over Marietta on Tuesday afternoon at University Courts. Lady ‘Cats cruise to 19-0 victory over USV The Kenton softball team sent 12 batters to the plate and scored six runs in the in the first inning and never looked back on the way to a 19-0 win over Upper Scioto Valley in Hardin County action on Monday. Jenna Clum had a pair of doubles and Jenna Rodenberger and Sydney Bopp both added a double and a single to lead the Wildcats, who after adding a single run in the second inning, scored seven times in the third and five more times in the fourth. Northwestern rallies past BL softball, 7-4 SPRINGFIELD — Northwestern plated three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on the way to a 7-4 victory over Ben Logan in a Central Buckeye Conference softball contest. Crestview hits two HRs in NWC win over Ada CONVOY — Crestview hitters smashed two home runs among its five hits on the way to a 13-2 win over Ada in a Northwest Conference softball contest on Monday. The Knights, 8-10 overall and 4-2 in the NWC, received home runs from Hannah Binnion and Kristen Etzler as they plated six runs in the second inning and two and two in the third before putting the game away with five runs in the fifth. Knights cruise past Bulldogs in five innings CONVOY — Crestview plated runs in every inning it batted on the way to an 11-1 win over Ada in Northwest Conference baseball action on Monday afternoon. After Ada scored in the top of the first inning, the host Knights plated one in the bottom of the first and two in the second and third frames before putting the game away with four in the fourth and two more in the fifth inning.
