BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan senior Coreen Crosby likes to stay busy. She should stay that way next year when she joins the Youngstown State University track and field team to compete in the heptathlon.

DOLA — Nick Bame has been outrunning the opposition on the track and cross country courses throughout his high school career at Hardin Northern.

Ada and Upper Scioto Valley were both well-represented on the All-Northwest District football teams released on Thursday. The Bulldogs placed four players on the Division VII first or second teams led by receiver Chase Sumner and linebacker Jordan Bailey, who were both selected to the first team.

The Hardin County Family YMCA has a variety of basketball programs available to area youth between the age of 5 and high school set for this winter.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Benjamin Logan High School Athletic Department is holding a fall sports banquet to honor the athletes who participated in football, volleyball and cheerleading on Monday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. in the high school commons. Cake and punch will be provided. Friends and family of the athletes are invited to attend.

DOLA — Hardin Northern’s fall athletes gathered in the high school gym for the annual banquet Monday. Any student who participated in high school or junior high volleyball, football, cheerleading or cross country received recognition from their coach for their participation in a sport.

McGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley senior Emily Patton has wanted to play college basketball for a long time. “I’ve always played since I was in third grade,” she said.
