BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan girls golf team had its best round of the season, shooting a 202 in a Central Buckeye Conference loss to Kenton Ridge (175) and Bellefontaine (177) on Tuesday. Lexi Stewart shot a personal best 45 and Mailiis Simovart tied her personal best of 45 to lead the Raiders.

Ridgemont defeated Perry 204-276 in a Northwest Central Conference golf match at Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton on Tuesday afternoon. Wyatt James fired a 48 and recorded two pars to lead the Gophers.

The Kenton boys soccer game at Defiance High School, scheduled for tonight, has been postponed due to facility maintenance issues at Defiance High School. A make up date will be announced at a later date.

There wasn’t much to separate the Ada and Kenton girls tennis teams when they met Tuesday afternoon for a Hardin County battle. But the Wildcats were able to pick up a victory, edging Ada 3-2.

A slow start for Kenton resulted in Defiance grabbing an early lead and extending it in the second half, handing the Wildcats a 3-1 loss in girls soccer action Tuesday night. The Wildcats had trouble mounting an offensive attack early in the game, while the Bulldogs were finding possession deep in the Kenton half.

SPRINGFIELD — The Benjamin Logan volleyball team remained unbeaten, picking up its first league win of the season by defeating Springfield Northwestern 25-10, 25-12 and 25-15 Tuesday night.

WEST LIBERTY — The Ben Logan boys cross country team finished third with 54 points in the Logan County Cross Country Meet at the Ohio Caverns on Tuesday night.

ELIDA — The Hardin Northern volleyball team improved to 5-0 on the season, topping Elida in four games 25-12, 25-21, 17-25, 25-6.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale’s volleyball season seems to be trending in the right direction. After dropping a pair of matches to open the season, the Falcons picked up their second straight win Monday night, defeating Ridgemont in three games, 25-18, 25-17, 25-20.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan cruised past Ada 29-27, 25-17, 25-6 Monday night to improve to 4-0 on the young volleyball season. The Raiders were led by an evenly balanced attack as Bri Frazier and Coreen Crosby each recorded 12 kills.
