Raider boys, girls sweep track meet

BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan boys and girls swept a four-team track and field meet at home Tuesday. The Ben Logan girls won with 106 points. Marion Harding scored 78, Indian Lake had 41 and Sydney Christian scored 12.

Bulldogs fall on road

FORT JENNINGS — Ada scored a pair of runs in the top of the first inning, but fell on the road 6-2 to Fort Jennings in nonconference baseball Wednesday.

Falcons fall to Bluffton

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Bluffton scored three runs in the fifth inning to take the lead for good and added two insurance runs in the seventh in a 7-3 non-conference softball victory against Riverdale on Tuesday.

Raiders best Urbana

BELLEFONTAINE — Urbana scored two runs in the top of the first inning Wednesday, but that was all the Hillclimbers got against Ben Logan pitcher Cole Waugh.

Rams bested by R’side

DeGRAFF — Riverside scored nine runs in the first two innings and went on to defeat Upper Scioto Valley 13-3 in five innings in Northwest Central Conference softball Tuesday.

USV boys take 1st in county meet

McGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley won three events to capture first place in the boys portion of the Hardin County Track and Field Meet at its home stadium Tuesday. The Rams scored 137 points, 12.5 points more than second-place Riverdale.
