MOUNT BLANCHARD — Taylor Farmer hit a two-out three-run double as part of Riverdale’s six-run second inning Monday during the Falcons’ 7-5 softball win over Arlington.

WAYNESFIELD — Waynesfield-Goshen scored three or more runs in four different innings Monday to defeat Upper Scioto Valley 15-8 in Northwest Central Conference softball.

ST. PARIS — Ben Logan tried to rally from a big deficit Monday in Central Buckeye Conference baseball but fell short, losing to Graham 8-6.

PAULDING — Paulding scored eight runs in the bottom of the first and went on to defeat Ada 22-0 in five innings Monday in Northwest Conference baseball. The Bulldogs had two hits, both by Brayden Sautter. Paulding led 11-0 after two innings, 15-0 after three and 22-0 after four.

LIMA — Hardin Northern scored three runs early and three runs late to defeat Perry 6-3 in Northwest Central Conference softball Monday.

WAYNESFIELD — Upper Scioto Valley outscored Waynesfield-Goshen 10-4 over the final three innings to grab a 13-8 victory on the road Monday in Northwest Central Conference baseball.

UPPER SANDUSKY — The Kenton boys placed fourth out of eight teams Saturday at the Gerald Swankhouse Invitational track and field meet hosted by Upper Sandusky.

DOLA — The Riverdale Falcons girls and boys track teams took first and second place, respectively, at the Hardin Northern Invitational on Saturday. With 117.5 points, the Riverdale girls took first place, while Ada (80), Hardin Northern (58) and Upper Scioto Valley (49) girls teams took third through fifth places.

FINDLAY — The bats were working for the Kenton softball team against Liberty-Benton on Saturday as the Wildcats took a 13-0 victory. A two-run first inning set the pace for the Wildcats, and a four-run second opened up the lead to 6-0.

McGUFFEY — The Upper Scioto Valley softball team split a doubleheader against Lehman Catholic on Saturday, grabbing a 6-3 win in game one and falling in game two 5-0. After scoring the opening run of the game in the first, USV opened up a 6-3 lead after a five-run fourth inning to put them on top.
