DOLA — Hardin Northern recently held its winter sports banquet and handed out special awards to some of its athletes. Storm Drumm and Zach Wilhelm were recognized for being named honorable mention in the Northwest Central Conference for boys basketball.

ONU softball splits OAC doubleheader

MAREITTA — Sophomore Kirsten Lightel led the Ohio Northern softball team to a split with Marietta on its opening day of Ohio Athletic Conference play. The Polar Bears claimed game one 3-1 and fell in game two 6-5.

Storr leads Polar Bear women to 17-11 win

ADA — Freshman Madeline Storr scored a career-high seven goals to lead the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team to a 17-11 victory over NCAA Division II foe Urbana on Wednesday night at Dial-Roberson Stadium. The Polar Bears improve to 3-4 overall, while the Blue Knights fall to 0-6.
