Ada falls twice to Arlington

ARLINGTON — Ada was bested in a doubleheader against on Arlington on Saturday, falling 10-2 and 19-4. After scoring the opening run of the first game, the Bulldogs gave up two five-run innings to Arlington.

Ada takes one against Minster in doubleheader

ADA — The Ada Bulldogs softball team split a doubleheader on Saturday against Minster, taking game one 2-0 and falling in game two 8-4. In game one, single runs in the second and third innings was all it took for the Bulldogs to come out on top.

Ben Logan edges WL

WEST LIBERTY — A two-run seventh inning was good enough to give the Benjamin Logan baseball team the edge in an 8-6 win over West Liberty on Saturday. Following two scoreless innings, both teams broke out in the third with two-run innings.

The week ended with rain so the Spring League was canceled and it was not decided whether to add yet another week to the schedule. But with the beginning of a new week, another league will start its seasonal play.

BELLEFONTAINE — Benjamin Logan High School senior Grant Ricketts will be taking his golf game next season to the University of Findlay. Ricketts signed his letter of intent on Wednesday to play golf at the Division II school where he will major in computer science to pursue a career in cyber security.

HN falls to R’side

DeGRAFF — Riverside scored the final four runs Thursday to top Hardin Northern 4-2 in Northwest Central Conference softball. The Polar Bears (7-4, 6-2 NWCC) scored twice to take the lead in the second inning.
