ROCKFORD — After having trouble scoring in the second quarter Tuesday night, Storm Drumm came up big in the third quarter for Hardin Northern. Drumm scored nine of his team-high 18 points in the third period as the Polar Bears overcame a halftime deficit and held on for a 49-47 victory over Parkway in boys basketball play at the Chatt Insurance Holiday Tournament.

FOSTORIA — Ridgemont got a big boost from one of its three seniors Tuesday night. Corey Eversole scored 30 points as the Gophers dominated the first half and defeated St. Wendelin 78-47 in nonconference boys basketball.

LIMA — Lima Temple Christian took a six-point lead over Ben Logan after the first quarter and steadily built on that advantage for a 75-57 victory Tuesday in nonconference boys basketball.

WAPAKONETA — The Riverdale girls basketball team couldn’t hold a second-half lead for the second straight day at the Wapakoneta Holiday Tournament on Tuesday. Marion Local (7-4) controlled the second half to rally and defeat the Falcons 66-57.

MANSFIELD — Mansfield Christian defeated Ridgemont 52-37 on Tuesday in nonconference girls basketball.

LEWISTOWN — After a competitive first quarter Monday night, Kenton turned it on and dominated Indian Lake in girls basketball. The Wildcats (6-4) led by five after the first quarter and won 86-27.

DOLA — Hardin Northern used a defensive switch in the second quarter to keep Ada close at halftime Monday night in nonconference girls basketball. The Bulldogs turned it on in the second half though, outscoring Hardin Northern by 31 points for a 65-29 victory.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan got off to a good start Monday night and cruised to a 58-40 victory over Urbana in Central Buckeye Conference girls basketball. The Raiders (10-1, 4-0 CBC) outscored Urbana 28-12 in the first quarter of the Mad River Division contest.

WAPAKONETA — Dayton Carroll overcame a three-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter Monday to defeat Riverdale 72-67 in girls basketball action at the Wapakoneta Holiday Tournament. Riverdale (7-4) and Carroll were tied at 15 after one quarter.

LIMA — The Kenton girls swimming team won two individual events Saturday at the Holiday Invitational hosted by Lima Central Catholic to place fourth out of 15 teams.
