Ridgemont’s Mouser qualifies for state golf

BOWLING GREEN — It was worth the wait for Ridgemont senior Devin Mouser. In the first group to finish his Division III district golf round Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club on Thursday, Mouser had to wait for hours for everyone else to complete their rounds before finding out the good news that he was a state qualifier.

Kenton, Bath draw in WBL soccer

Kenton started well against Bath in Western Buckeye League boys soccer Thursday night, but finished with a 1-1 draw. The Wildcats (5-5-4, 1-4-3 WBL) opened the scoring 14 minutes into the match.

Bulldogs sweep

VAN WERT — Ada stayed unbeaten in Northwest Conference volleyball by sweeping Lincolnview on Thursday. The Bulldogs (19-2, 8-0 NWC) won 25-18, 25-15, 25-14.

HN wins

LIMA — Hardin Northern overcame a slow start to defeat Lima Perry in four games Thursday in Northwest Central Conference volleyball. The Polar Bears (14-6, 5-1 NWCC) won 18-25, 25-22, 25-12, 25-23.

Riverdale defeats Wapakoneta

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale’s Brooke McKamey scored 25 seconds before halftime and it held to give the Falcons a 1-0 nonconference girls soccer victory Thursday night against Wapakoneta.

Ada girls get 1st soccer win

CONVOY — Makayla Callahan scored a hat trick Thursday to lead Ada to its first girls soccer win of the season. The Bulldogs (1-10-2, 1-3-1 Northwest Conference) defeated Crestview 7-1.

Raiders fall in resumption of game

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan couldn’t overcome a deficit Thursday as it lost 4-2 to Tecumseh in Central Buckeye Conference soccer. The game was suspended in August with Tecumseh leading 2-0 after 30 minutes of play.
