Riverdale earned the second seed in the Division III Findlay District for girls soccer. The Falcons will host their first postseason match on Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. against the winner of No. 12 Ada and No. 8 Mansfield Christian.

Riverdale grabbed the third seed in the Division III Tiffin boys soccer district during the draw on Sunday. The Falcons open postseason play Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. when they host the winner of Liberty-Benton and Ada.

ADA — Ada couldn’t have gotten off to a much better start Saturday against Paulding in Nortwest Central Conference boys soccer action. Logan Williams scored 46 seconds into the match to give the Bulldogs an early lead.

FINDLAY — Kenton was unable to advance further than Thursday’s district golf tournament held at Red Hawk Run golf club. Only the top two teams and top two individuals not on qualifying teams advanced to next week’s state tournament.

BOWLING GREEN — It was worth the wait for Ridgemont senior Devin Mouser. In the first group to finish his Division III district golf round Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club on Thursday, Mouser had to wait for hours for everyone else to complete their rounds before finding out the good news that he was a state qualifier.

Kenton started well against Bath in Western Buckeye League boys soccer Thursday night, but finished with a 1-1 draw. The Wildcats (5-5-4, 1-4-3 WBL) opened the scoring 14 minutes into the match.

MIDDLETOWN — Ben Logan’s boys golf season came to an end Thursday at the district tournament held at Weatherwax Golf Course.

Ben Logan finished second out of eight teams Thursday in the boys cross country race at Kenton’s Kyle Althauser Memorial Invitational. Columbus Grove won the boys title with 47 points.

VAN WERT — Ada stayed unbeaten in Northwest Conference volleyball by sweeping Lincolnview on Thursday. The Bulldogs (19-2, 8-0 NWC) won 25-18, 25-15, 25-14.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan swept Northwestern in Central Buckeye Conference volleyball Thursday. The Raiders (11-9, 7-1 CBC) were led by a balanced attack.
