ADA — Ada scored in the second half to earn a 1-1 draw with Lincolnview in girls soccer Monday. “I thought we played well,” Ada coach Jeff Hunt said.

Kenton senior Claire Oates has made a habit of reaching the girls tennis district tournament. She’ll play in the district tournament at Bowling Green for the fourth straight year Wednesday.

WAYNESFIELD — Kenton seemed to be in trouble Monday night in nonconference volleyball action against Waynesfield-Goshen. The Tigers won two of the first three games and led 24-19 in Game 4, one point away from the victory.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan ended its eight-game losing streak Monday night with a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Graham in Central Buckeye Conference boys soccer. The Raiders (4-9, 1-7 CBC) gave up two goals in the first 20 minutes, but fought back on senior night.

ST. PARIS — Ben Logan defeated Graham 2-0 on Monday night in Central Buckeye Conference girls soccer. It was the first conference win of the season for the Raiders (4-8-2, 1-6-2 CBC).

ELIDA — Elida topped Kenton 5-1 in Western Buckeye League boys soccer Monday night. The Bulldogs (8-2-1, 4-2-1 WBL) led 2-0 at halftime and put 13 shots on goal to four for the Wildcats.

UPPER SANDUSKY — The Riverdale girls soccer team broke a scoreless draw midway through the first half in a triumphant three-minute stretch to take command of second place in the North Central Ohio Soccer Assosciation with a 3-0 victory Saturday at Upper Sandusky.

LIMA — Saturday wasn’t a banner day of girls tennis for Hardin County participants in a Division II sectional tournament. Kenton senior Claire Oates suffered her first loss of the season in the semifinals before rebounding to place third.

HARROD — Hardin Northern swept a pair of matches Saturday at a tri-match at Allen East. The Polar Bears (13-6) defeated Cory-Rawson 25-16, 25-9 and then beat the host Mustangs 25-16, 25-18.

LIMA — Upper Scioto Valley swept a volleyball tri-match Saturday at Lima Senior. The Rams defeated the host team 25-19, 25-18 and topped Kenton 25-20, 25-21.
